quickcam and Inspiration

I went to a workshop and the presenter showed some movies that his students made using (I believe) a Logitech Quickcam and they somehow imported what they took pics of into Inspiration (like seed/plant growth over a 3-4 day period, taking a pic every 5 min., then put it into Inspiration to make a movie). I thought I would remember how to do it, but, of course, I don't. Does this sound doable to anyone? If so, do you have any ideas/suggestions as to how to do it? thank you

-Hello,

While Inspiration 8 cannot use a quickcam directly, you may have success saving the video with the quickcam, like you would collect any other video. Then, using Insert Video option in the Tools menu of Inspiration 8 to add the video clip to Inspiration. You'll want to consult the support material for the quickcam manufacturer if you have questions about collecting video.

If you have more specific questions about this or if you are finding errors when adding video, please let me know. Your best bet is to contact me in Tech Support at techsupport@inspiration.com.

Let me know if that helps.

Sincerely,
