I installed the trial version of Kidspiration 3 on my sons' computers. I wanted to use one of the Math Activities with them today, and when I selected it, it wouldn't load the activity and reported error code 8. This happens on both of their computers, running Windows XP SP2. The activity runs fine on my computer, running Windows Vista.
I have checked the other activities, and for all of the math activities, I get this code. For the non-math activities it is fine. I can also still create a math view just fine, but it's the prebuilt math activities that are a problem.
What does this error code mean and how do I fix it?
Thank you!

You're very welcome. I'm glad to learn it's working better now. Because Kidspiration 2 is not required to install Kidspiration 3, you're quite welcome to uninstall it when you are ready.
If any errors occur or you have additional questions, please contact me directly. I can be reached at 800-877-4292, Option 6. I'm here Monday through Friday, from 8-5 PM, Pacific Time.

Thank you for your response to the situation. The boys' computers had been having problems installing several programs, and I was beginning to think that it was related to the fact that they have been running on the same "build" of Windows XP for about 2.5 years or so. So I spent the weekend reinstalling everything from the operating system on up, installing Windows Vista SP1 on both systems. When I installed Kidspiration at that point, I didn't have any problems whatsoever.
Question for you though - I have Kidspiration 2 (complete) and Kidspiration 3 (upgrade). I had to install version 2 in order to install the version 3 upgrade. Can I now uninstall version 2 without a problem with version 3?
Thank you!
